The rise of someone’s blood pressure is caused by many things. Heredity, unhealthy diet, and improper environment can cause a person suffering from hypertension aka high blood pressure. Works that piled up, traffic jam and various other activities that make you reduce your sleep time everyday. Yet the lack of sleep has led someone to have high blood pressure. Lack of sleep can increase the risk of hypertension.
Even in Britain, one of three people who have hypertension is potentially having a stroke and heart attack. The researchers checked the blood pressure of the object of the study. The researchers then monitored the sleep patterns using sensors that placed on each study subject’s wrist in order to know their activities and their rest before the blood pressure is checked again later.
From the research it is proved that 1 percent of the objects of the study are sleep 8 hours per day or more. The rest of them are sleep with an average of 6 hours per day. The result states that a person who slept an hour less than 6 hours per day increases the risk of hypertension by 37 percent. This study provides evidence that the relationship between sleep duration and quality with high blood pressure level is determined by the characteristics of a sleep pattern.
Basically hypertension rarely has obvious symptoms, only if their blood pressure is tested, the results are consistently above 140 and 90. To lower someone’s blood pressure, physical exercise and salt diet are proved can lower the blood pressure.
