Fiber draws water from the surrounding blood vessels so that feces become soft and easy to remove. Fiber also blocks the absorption of sugar, so it is good for reducing obesity and the healthy of the diabetics. Fiber can not be processed by the digestive enzymes so that people who consume a lot of fibrous food would have much more feces.

This makes the intestinal doing the peristaltic movement which is good for the digestive organs and pushed out the feces quickly so that free radicals haven’t got much time to disrupt the body’s cells and causing cancer. In the digestive organs, fiber reduces the amount of bad bacteria and increases the number of good bacteria. If the amount of bad bacteria in the intestines is reduced, the growth of toxic substances can be reduced so that it can reduce the risk of colon cancer.

When the feces are buried too long in the intestines then it can cause bad bacteria to multiply and injured the wall of the intestinal. Toxic substances will be spread throughout the body trough the bloodstream and causes the body feels uncomfortable. Chronic constipation can lead to insomnia, shoulder aches, headache, allergies and others. Fiber works to absorb cholesterol so that the cholesterol levels in the blood will decreased.
