Moreover, if in your family, there was someone who had ever suffered diabetes. There are five kinds of foods that should be avoided for the diabetics.

This is to avoid the increasing of your blood sugar levels.

1. Noodles and Pasta; most of the pasta and noodles have a high glycemic index. That means pasta and noodles are made from refined simple carbohydrates such as wheat or rice flour. High carbohydrate intake may increase the blood sugar levels.

2. Rice, reduce the consumption of white rice because its content is very high in carbs. You can replace it with red rice or brown rice.

3. Caffeine, some studies, one of them is entitled “Diabetes Care”, it was written by Hudson Lee and Kilpatrick in 2005 indicates that caffeine has a negative impact on people with diabetes. For that, it would be better if you reduce the beverages that are contain caffeine.

4. Potatoes, the carbohydrate content in the potatoes which are high, making its glycemic index also high. For that, reduce the consumption of potatoes, whether they are baked, boiled or fried.

5. White bread, reduce the consumption of bread that is made from white flour. Better to choose bread that is made from wheat flour. Besides having lots of fiber, it is also good for your heart.

The respondents were asked to pedal a bike for 75 minutes and shortly after that, the first group was asked to enjoy the high-carbohydrate foods. While the second group was given low-carbohydrates food, but with the same number of calories like the first group.
