Apples Can Prevent Asthma and Allergies

A new study examining foods of nearly 2000 pregnant women and checked the lung health of 1253 children at the age of 5.

Among the variety of foods that are eaten and recorded by pregnant women, only apple consumption that showed a consistent protection against asthma and shortness of breath. The children of pregnant mothers who eat more than 4 apples per week as much as 37% which had less history about shortness of breath and had 53% less of asthma after confirmed by the doctor, compared with mothers who ate one or no apples per week during pregnancy.
