Fitness Aspect of The Exercise

Fit means being able to carry out their daily work with prime and fresh; along with enough stamina and aware to emergency things in our situation. Definition of fit by physically can be varies depending on the profession. Definition of fit is also relative, you may be fitter this year than last year or maybe you are fitter than your neighbors, there is no definite explanation about fit.

One thing for sure, if you pursue fitness, then exercise is the only way to achieve it. There are 4 basic aspects to be physically fit, that is: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility. Each can be measured with routine exercise. Remember, exercise for fitness is not is not the same as weight training to increase an athlete’s performance. To be fitter, you need to build these 4 basic aspects, not just 1 or 2.

Physiologically, cardiovascular endurance maintains heart’s ability and blood vessels to carry the oxygen to the body cells; also to dispose the waste in our body. With regular aerobic exercise, your heart will be able to pump more blood; thus able to deliver more oxygen efficiently. Thus, your muscle capacity to retain oxygen will increase, able to pump more blood per beat, so the heart does not work too hard. Also your heart has the ability to recover faster from stress due to exercise.
