Tinnitus is a medical term of the buzzing ears that comes from the Latin words “tinnire” which means “buzzing“. Tinnitus is not actually a disease, but early signs / symptoms that cause by a disease in our body and can cause some medical conditions such as reduction or loss of hearing due to aging which causes degradation of hearing, ear damage, or as indication of circulation system disease in the body.

tinnitus Tinnitus Bothering Your LifeAlthough it is not interfere with the appearance, but certainly that tinnitus caused discomfort and eliminate the concentration when doing all kinds of activities so that for some of tinnitus patients will be having decline of their life quality. In many cases of Tinnitus, may be treated with certain medications, especially if the cause can be known, whereas for other treatments can only alleviate or minimize buzzing sounds so as not bothering the patient’s daily activities.

In many cases, generally the main causes that cause tinnitus are still unknown, but generally the cause is due to cells damage in the ears. Inside the ear, thousands of hearing cells that maintain ‘electrical signal‘ and microscopic hair which forms tufts on the surface of hearing cells.

At normal conditions, these hairs move along with the pressure from the sound waves. This movement is triggered by cells to cut off electrical signals through the hearing nerves. The brain will interpret this signal as sound. If these hairs were damaged, they will move randomly at constant condition. Unable to resist ‘electrical charge‘, the hearing cells will be leaking. Electrical signals to the brain as a very noisy sound.
